silver lining silver lining silver lining silver lining silver lining silver lining In silver lining, 2010, silver polyester covers one side of a plank of wood used as a police barricade with the letters spelling “POLICE LINE” removed and placed over those letters on the opposite side. The plank of wood lies on a barricade with the silver polyester letters reading “POLICE LINE” facing the floor covered with silver polyester. This causes a double reflection of the text “POLICE LINE”, causing the line to double ad infinitum. This doubling ad infinitum exposes the impossibility of not finding oneself already simultaneously between and crossing the police line. The line becomes contingent on the subject’s mobility instead of the immobility prescribed to a subject by the l/Law policing such a line.
